I like movies in almost all genres but if I'd had to name a few from memory: Back to the Future trilogy, Memento, Matrix, Serenity/Firefly, Flavors, American Desi, Rocket Singh, (quite a few Bollywood movies that I don't know the names of because I don't speak Hindi), I also enjoy all sorts of foreign films (yes with subtitles)... I believe I'm quite the movie connoisseur, if my Netflix history is to be believed.
I'm illiterate. I haven't read a book since the required reading of Gulliver's Travels and Great Expectations back in High School. Tried reading Snow Crash, Ender's Game and Hitchhicker's Guide to the Universe but frankly I don't get very far in books. I probably have ADD.
Anything edible I will eat. I love sushi/Japanese, American, Indian, Vietnamese, Italian, heck name an ethnicity and I'll probably like their food.
Again my tastes cross many genres. Depending on my mood or what I'm doing, I'll listen to anything from recent alternative rock to 80s pop. The two genres I never really got into was rap and country... I guess I'm just a rocker at heart.
Well aside from my overweight morbid obesity, I think I'm a fairly average looking guy... not gorgeous but not all THAT ugly either. My fashion sense is a whole 'nother story altogether... I lack that metrosexual gene. I usually wear jeans and a t-shirt/button-down shirt to work (or shorts depending on the time of year). I have like one good suit to my name. My wardrobe is sorely lacking, but I would be quite open to some advice.
Sarcastic, definitely pun-ny sarcastic. I enjoy making people laugh even if it's at my own expense. I have a very self-degrading personality. Don't get that confused with low self-esteem (though I have quite a bit of that too). I think I'm quite quick witted... and if I can't think of a comeback quick enough the ol' "that's what she said" always works ;)
I love robotics (I've only played with it a bit in school to be honest)... but I dream of one day building robots and programming them for a living. Hey I'm a boy from the 80s when "Transformers" was the greatest thing on TV (second to "Thundercats" of course). Aside from robots I enjoy programming in general (where it involves systems design and the like), which is a good thing considering that's my day job. I've been wanting to get more into more embedded systems programming. Also I do have a love for drawing/sketching/art... I've been doodling all my life (to no great outcome mind you).
I was born in India (so that counts as one), I've visited Dubai for a few days with the parents and we had a stopover at some London airport so that easily counts as 2 more countries right? Oh and I've been to Canada to see Niagra Falls and play laser tag in the CN tower (I got top gunner (against a bunch of old people) if I recall). And I live in the good old USA. So I've been to almost 5 different countries [technically].
I'm open to whatever woman will have me to be honest. There are beautiful women in almost every race. It really comes down to her sharing the same ideals and morals as myself. I'm totally pro-inter-cultural-relationships, the gene pool needs a good stir once in a while.
It depends on what she'd consider a romantic weekend. I'm quite flexible in that regard. Perhaps visit a foreign country, spend some time roaming about the city discovering new places to visit, a long walk/jog/bike-ride in the park, visit a zoo, rescue some poor dog from the pound, go out to a movie, have awesome sushi, watch a beautiful sunset while snuggling. I have no idea, I'm probably incapable of romance.
I'm a mish-mash of normalcy and lunacy... but a well balanced on both accounts. I enjoy helping people solve problems and finding solutions. I'm a thinker/creator type so I always need to be doing or making something. My only weaknesses are being absorbed in learning things (via the Interweb) or watching a really good story.
A wonderful woman with an honest heart, fair mindset and a strong sense of morality. I don't mean to imply she'd have to be simple or homely, far from it. I'd love for her to be strong willed, intelligent and funny as heck. I'm very attracted to smarts in a woman. I guess I'm just looking for a woman who shares the same views on life as myself and would complement me.
